This is a Shinwa Japanese 6″ sliding bevel gauges. The blade is 6 1/4″ long x 9/16″ wide and the base is 7″ long and 9/16″ wide. Both blade and base are made from hardened stainless steel and are milled and not stamped. It has a knurled brass tightening knob. This tool is excellent for determining and transferring angles from one piece to another. blade is 6 14 long x 916 wide
